Abstract

Zoonotic disease is an infectious disease that is transmitted from animals to humans. Many pet owners are unaware that cat illnesses can be transmitted to humans. Immunocompromised people, both old and young, will suffer as a result of this. Children enjoy playing with cats, especially kittens, which carry more disease than adult cats. The purpose of this research is to provide information to pet owners on some of the most common zoonotic diseases that affect cats and their symptoms. The objectives of this review paper are to inform pet owners some zoonotic diseases that may infect them and what are the symptoms of the disease especially in cats they can recognize so that they will be able to take immediate actions to prevent the disease from spreading to their family members.
